Nevada teacher accused of sexual contact with student that reportedly went on for years

A woman from Las Vegas was charged with sexual conduct with a student.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police took Kaitlin Glover into custody last week on a warrant. Glover was charged with lewdness with a child age 14 or 15 and two counts of a school employee engaged in sexual conduct with a pupil age 16 or older.

According to the warrant, the alleged victim approached police in 2022, saying Glover had sexual contact with them while they were a student.

This person alleged that their relationship lasted nearly four years, from Dec. 2017 to Sept. 2021, and that Glover would send explicit messages and perform sex acts.

The name of the school was redacted from the copy of the warrant released by authorities.

Police interviewed Glover, who denied all allegations. She told detectives that she and the student had a close relationship, but there was never any physical or sexual activity. Her attorney also provided police with two letters from the alleged victim, which described Glover as a mother figure and a hero, according to the warrant.

Court records indicate Glover has been released on her own recognizance with an order for no contact with the alleged victim. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 14.
