How To Get The IKELOS SMG v1.0.3 (& God Roll)

The IKELOS_SMG_v1.0.3 is a priority weapon to craft before Lightfall arrives in Destiny 2. Guardians do not have long to easily unlock the Pattern.

The IKELOS_SMG_v1.0.3 is an updated version of the IKELOS_SMG, which was released back in Destiny 2's Warmind expansion. The Arc gun can come with multiple powerful Perks and features a new Origin Trait, Rasputin's Arsenal. This is unique to IKELOS weapons and partially reloads the magazine when breaking a target's shield. Additionally, the God Roll for this SMG is fantastic for adding clarity and is a must-have when Lightfall releases on February 28, 2023.

The first method of obtaining the IKELOS_SMG_v1.0.3 is from Season of the Seraph activities. Guardians may have earned the weapon during the More Than a Weapon story in Destiny 2. During the questline each week, players were required to spend 500 Seraph Key Codes to unlock the Seraph Chest at the end of a Heist Battlegrounds activity. This grants bonus loot on top of the rewards earned from mission completion.

If Guardians will obtain a Deepsight version of the IKELOS_SMG_v1.0.3. Five copies are needed to learn the crafting Pattern.

Similar to Season of the Seraph weapons in Destiny 2, players can focus an Umbral Engram at the Exo Frame in the H.E.L.M. for IKELOS guns. However, Guardians must first unlock the IKELOS Weapon Focusing upgrade to enable this option. Earlier in the season, this allowed the focusing of one Deepsight IKELOS weapon a week. Recently, Bungie changed this upgrade to once per day until the release of Lightfall. Guardians will want to take advantage of this opportunity to learn the crafting Pattern. Chambered Compensator increases stability and moderately controls recoil while slightly decreasing handling speed. Seraph Rounds further increase stability and slightly increase range. These rounds also over-penetrate targets and bounce off hard surfaces. For high-level content in Destiny 2, Guardians want Threat Detector as the first Perk because the buff activates by simply being in close proximity to targets. This increases reload speed, handling, and stability for the SMG. The main Trait that all players should have on the gun is Voltshot. This Perk synergizes incredibly well with Arc 3.0 and can clear out groups of enemies. Voltshot states that reloading the weapon after a kill will overcharge the next shot, jolting targets hit.
